Solo show "After Me, the Deluge / Sau ta là hồng thủy"
"After Me, the Deluge / Sau ta là hồng thủy" marks Vietnamese artist Cẩm-Anh Lương’s first solo exhibition in Germany at SOMA Art Berlin. Through immersive installations in mixed media and VR, Cẩm-Anh explores the personal and collective memories shaped by migration, Western colonialism, and imposed stereotypes on Southeast Asian identities. Echoing the phrase "After me, the deluge"—used by figures from King Louis XV to Karl Marx—the exhibition contemplates the turbulent impact of power, impermanence, and consequence in a digital age, challenging how we remember and connect across histories and geographies.
